Initial Semiologic Pro Installation 2

1. Our domain will come up automatically.
2. We leave this blank if our website (Word-Semiologic) will be installation as our "root". This means our website shows when a person goes to www.yourwebsite.com as opposed to www.yourwebsite.com/wordpress. If we are going to add it into a folder on our domain we can just type in the name of our folder here.
3. Pick an Admin name so that you can access the back-end of your Wordpress/Semiologic Pro installation.
4. Pick a secure password.
5. Pick and Admin nickname. This name will show as the author of any posts or pages you create for your website.
6. Type in an email where you wish to receive email concerning notifications effecting your website.
7. Choose the name of your website. This is fairly important from and SEO perspective and also help your user know what your site is about. This can always be changed later.
8. Type in a description of your website. This can be changed later.
9 Click the "Install WordPress" button.

Click the "Finish Installation" button.

Take note of the URL where you can access your website and the administration area.

In this video we go through the steps of completing the WordPress installation using the 5 minute automatic installation method. The most important thing to remember is to make sure you remember your Administration username and Administration password.

The other important things you want to note is the URL with your website and the WP-Admin section.
