Wordpress Location Installation

Wordpress_Location_Installation.png

There is a decision that needs be made here. I install my "WordPress Applications" in the root as I use them as a regualar website. If you are installing Wordpress in the root you will leave "Install in directory" blank.

If you have a website already installed on your domain root that you are happy with and want to add WordPress to your website, you would put a folder name here. This will all be created automatically after you type it in.

You can then go to the next step to complete the steps of the installation.

Wordpress Installation Location Continued

Wordpress_Installation_Location_Continued.png

Here we are using the word "printversion" to install our WordPress application into the directory of printversion.

A directory installation URL looks like this: http://www.computervideorepair.com/printversion/

The root installation URL looks like this: http://www.computervideorepair.com/

I want to repeat – we do step 1 if we are installing in a directory as opposed to the root directory.

Follow the steps in order with your own values for username, password, e-mail, etc.

Step 8 is ONLY "CLICKED" once the above Seven (7) steps are completed in this step.
