Smart Links

Smartlinks – In Semiologic Pro there is a plugin called Smartlinks. When building a website you sometimes need to link to other relevent content for your reader that is searching for information on your website.

The beauty of Smartlinks is that you never have to go back to older content, to changes links should you change content locations. It is an intuitive plugin that will follow your content!

My website is mostly built on Pages rather than Posts. However in order to gain the benfits of the blog platform what I will do is create a Page and then write a Post that links back to that Page. This helps enormously with SEO from the search engines.

Here I will take you through the steps of how I create a simple Smartlink.
